A bunch of characters I made for a visual novel/dating sim/webcomic/whatever
Miou Sakurai: The protagonist. A human girl attending an academy for animals
Yuki Shizuka: A quiet, timid guy who usually keeps to himself. He’s more or less invisible
Ryouichi ‘Wanta’ Inoue: An energetic, happy-go-lucky guy who can be a bit of a troublemaker sometimes. Although a free spirit he’s loyal to his friends and family. He has a habit of herding the sheep students of the school, including Yuki
Kaneme Kurokinu: A rich boy who attends the school because his parents decided, that he should. He’s selfish and conceited and generally does whatever he wants
Saburo ‘Pyonta’ Tsukino: Miou’s pet rabbit who told her about the school. He’s friendly and always ready to help somebody in need. Because of his long front teeth, he speaks with a lisp
Three fake Pokémon I created earlier today
It actually happened when I decided to play PMD2 again and somehow replaced the Relic Fragment with a guardian angel pendant >u<
I’m not sure how each should evolve into the next, all I know is that Angelita’s gonna be a Baby Pokémon and it’s gonna know Sweet Kiss, and that all of them are gonna have Levitate as their ability
Gothita was also initially gonna have a halo like its evolutions, but somehow Gothita popped up inside my head and the halo turned into a scrunchie holding up a pigtail
Maybe I’ll make sprites of them someday. I don’t make sprites that often, though, so I’m looking forward to give it a try ^u^
A bunch of wrigglers. I seriously don’t draw enough wrigglers
Poor Tavros, he can’t roll over. :( It’s probably Vriska’s fault
I’ve wated to experiment with Will’s hair for a long time
and now I finally did
Y’see, his hair is actually partially straightened, with his side bang thingies and the top of his hair being straightened and the rest kept curly
The one on the left kinda reminds me of Gamzee ouo
Aaaaaaand the water signs: Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces
EEEEEEEE CANCER’S JUST SO PRECIOUS EEEEEEEE （*´∀｀*）
The air signs: Gemini, Libra and Aquarius
And then there’s the good ol’ ‘what the hell’s that thing on your head?’ XDDD
Libra’s hair originally curled the other way, but that just looked ridiculous, so I changed it. He looks a lot better this way. This is actually how I initially wanted it to look ouo
I’m sorry, Sara |･ω･｀)
Poor Mr. Sir, though…
Oh well, off to draw something slightly more productive
The Earth signs, Taurus, Virgo and
the demon librarian Capricorn.
Heh, Cap really doesn’t have time for cookies >u<
A while back I got this funny little idea: an Avatar: The Last Airbender-inspired series with people’s heritage and caste based on playing cards. Then, a few days ago, a friend of mine gave me this other funny little idea: basing the four continents on the four classical elements: water, fire, earth and air, and hence these four races were born:
The Waterlanders: Probably the one that differs most from the others, they’re a semiaquatic race that live in the Southern, cold Land of Water. They have scaly skin like that of a fish’s, typically of a cold, bluish hue, with the back being significantly darker than the front, a form of camouflage that peguins also bear amongst others. They have a thick layer of fat under their skin that protects them from from the icy cold water of the south.
While most of them live predominantly on land, some live their entire lives under water, living in caves and the like. The ones born and raised in dark caves may almost always be blind. They use ultrasonic waves to detect rock and other marine creatures under water.
The Firelanders: the race that lives in the volcanous, geyser-filled Land of Fire. Since this continent is located in the tropic and subtropic belts of the planet, these people are usually dark-skinned. Their diet consists of a wide variety of rodents, birds and lizard, and they collect water by distilling the steam from the geysers. They wear light clothing because - as you can probably tell from the fact that their continent is located in the tropic and subtropic belts and are covered in volcanoes and geysers - it’s a pretty damn hot place.
Earthlanders - probably the race with the most subspecies, the Earthlanders live in the Land of Earth, which stretches all the way from the Northern temperate belt to the border between the Southern temperate and subtropic belts. They’re probably the most developed race (by our standards), though some still lead lives similar to those of the other races.
Windlanders - an avian race that lives in the windy, mountainous Land of Wind. Out of the four races, they have best eyesight, corresponding to that of a falcon’s. Some live in caves in the mountains, others in the valleys. One things for sure: they all have wings, either feathery, furry or scaly.
I might keep some of these designs for future use. Like, maybe the Water- and the Windlander, but with a few changes here and there.
